“Far Above Cayuga's Waters (Parodies)”

Description

To the theme of the Cornell anthem ("Far Above Cayuga's Waters/Alma Mater"), any of a series of parodies: "High Above a Theta's Garter," "Far above Cayuga's waters Rises such a smell," etc.

Notes

The Cornell Song is perhaps the most-parodied of all college songs. One version is among the very few folk songs my father learned by genuine oral tradition (at the University of Michigan): "Far above Cayuga's waters Rises such a smell, Some say it's Cayuga's waters, We say it's Cornell." - RBW
